Understanding Recommendation Score
Recommendation Score measures how strongly AI assistants recommend your startup.
It is more useful than a simple yes/no mention because not all appearances are equal.
What affects the score
Section titled “What affects the score”Cypress evaluates signals such as:
- Position: whether your startup appears near the top of the answer.
- Strength: whether the model actively recommends you or only lists you.
- Context: whether the surrounding language is positive, neutral, or limiting.
- Frequency: whether you appear consistently across buyer prompts.
Why this matters
Section titled “Why this matters”A startup briefly mentioned at the bottom of an answer is not winning discovery. A startup recommended first, with clear reasons and positive context, is much closer to owning the AI shortlist.
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”Use Recommendation Score to track whether your visibility improves after content updates, launches, comparison pages, review campaigns, or PR.
