These concepts describe how Cypress thinks about AI visibility data.

Core concepts

• Startup: the company or product being benchmarked.
• Competitor: an incumbent, alternative, or adjacent tool that may appear in AI answers.
• Prompt: a natural-language buyer question.
• Run: a benchmark execution across prompts and AI assistants.
• Recommendation Score: a weighted score for recommendation strength.
• Category gap: a topic where the startup is missing or weak.
