Getting started
Cypress is built for lean SaaS teams that want to understand how AI assistants position their startup.
What to set up first
Section titled “What to set up first”Start with three inputs:
- Your startup name and website.
- Your core competitors and larger incumbents.
- The categories and use cases where buyers should discover you.
What to run first
Section titled “What to run first”Begin with category and comparison prompts. These usually reveal whether AI assistants understand where your product fits.
Examples:
- “Best tools for [category]”
- “Alternatives to [competitor]”
- “What should a startup use for [use case]?”
- “Compare [your startup] and [competitor]”
What to look for
Section titled “What to look for”Focus on whether your startup appears in shortlists, where it appears, how confidently it is recommended, and which competitors are recommended instead.
Early runs are a baseline. The value comes from repeating the benchmark after content, positioning, and PR work.
